Raised on Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Drake, Intellect has emerged as another torchbearer of hip-hop. Intellect stands out from the pack by being fearless in his message, courageous with his creativity, while providing an enjoyable experience for the listener.

The 24-year-old Chicago native found his passion for music at a young age. Not only was he in band, but he was also writing poetry at the age of 10. It wasn't until the fall of 2012 when Intellect fully realized music was his purpose, and after years of studying the art and honing his craft Intellect was ready to share his gift with the world.

The stage name "Intellect" comes from his desire to be unique, innovative, and stand out and spark people's intellect and touch their hearts. Intellect's music covers life and the challenges people face daily while using their intellect to learn from different situations. It also covers the constant battle of knowing better versus doing better.

Intellect's debut mixtape, FUSE, came out in October of 2017 and instantly garnered the attention of many with his clever wordplay, infectious flows, captivating hooks, and his powerful storytelling ability. This all adds up to a very unique sound.

Since then Intellect has dropped numerous songs, "Looks", "Monsters", and "Faded" which not only displayed his versatility but also showed his growth as an artist. Rapping, singing, songwriting, Intellect has made a constant effort to show his many different styles and techniques by blending it all to create great bodies of work. Intellect is poised to make a huge mark on the game with his sharp pin, unique perspective, and groundbreaking style.

2019 will be a huge year for Intellect as he sets to release his new album in April, which is expected to be a groundbreaking and life-changing moment in his blossoming career.
